Ventia provides road maintenance, asset management services and minor civil work to an area of western Sydney covering seven local government areas including the Blue Mountains, which is a World Heritage Listed area.
The major roads are the Great Western Highway, Bells Line of Road and Darling Causeway. This footprint covers approximately 5,400 square kilometres of land.
Ventia also provides maintenance of the Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) throughout Regional NSW.

Description
Ventia was awarded the Sydney Roads Asset Performance (SRAP) Contract for the Parklands zone by Transport for NSW (TfNSW). The base contract is an initial nine-year term commencing July 2021. Ventia provides road maintenance and asset management services to the Parklands zone and Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) throughout Regional NSW.
The Parklands zone covers the western corridor of greater Sydney and consists of more than 2,100 lane km of road, 166 bridges, 1 tunnel, 432 km of cycleway, 344 km of roadside safety barriers, 34,149 traffic signs and 879 traffic signals. The contract also includes the management of ITS across the Parklands zone and Regional NSW consisting of 4,828 streetlights and 4,080 other assets.
