The new greenhouse allows the kindergartens to grow fruit and vegetables and maintain a worm farm to support the learning of valuable, energy-efficient and environmental life skills, from a very early age.

The grant was used to purchase important diagnostic equipment to strengthen the outreach program currently supporting Aboriginal children and their families in the Pilbara, Goldfields, Kimberley and South West regions of Western Australia. Our focus is on early detection of middle ear disease, and its potential life-long effects on Aboriginal and at-risk children living in remote areas of Western Australia.

The additional lighting will allow our club to run night race meets which will attract more spectators and members to the club

Ashburton Little Athletics Centre is a newly established athletics centre for children based in Tom Price. We focus on developing athletic skills in both track and field. The new line marking machine will greatly reduce the amount of time it takes to prepare our running track and throwing sectors with line marking.

The grants we received from Ventia allows schools to select brand-new books suitable for the needs of their students and their curriculum. With the $12,000 we have been given by Ventia, we can provide a total of approximately 1,200 books across six schools in areas that Ventia operates, giving 2,990 students access to a much-needed updated library offering.

Hear and Say Darling Downs received a community grant to purchase clinical resources, toys and equipment that assist in delivering speech, language, social and other health development outcomes for children with hearing loss in the region. This means children can now be treated within the region, rather than having to travel further afield.

Spring has sprung so it is time for us to top up our raised gardens with soil and plant vegetables, fruit trees and herbs. It is such a valuable learning experience for children learning to grow food from scratch and we could not have done it without the support of Ventia.
