The Kaipara District Council and the Far North District Council have both extended Ventia's current road maintenance contracts for an additional two years to 30 June 2024. 

Under separate contracts, Ventia provides road maintenance and renewal services for both councils as part of the Northland Transport Alliance.

Vic Hensley, Ventia's General Manager for New Zealand Transport says the contract extensions are a testament to Ventia's long history of providing outstanding service excellence and value for money in the Northland region.

"For more than three decades, Ventia has been providing transport services across the Northland region, originally under the McBreen Jenkins brand," says Vic.

Today as Ventia, we are redefining service excellence and constantly seeking to outperform the expectations of our clients and their customers, and I believe we have been rewarded for our efforts with these contract extensions.

Vic believes effective collaboration between Ventia's highly experienced crews and subcontractors is at the heart of their success.

The Northland Transportation Alliance is a collaboration between the Whangarei, Kaipara and Far North District Councils, Northland Regional Council and the New Zealand Transport Agency to deliver combined transportation services for Northland.
