Ventia has been awarded an important new contract with NBN Co that is expected to deliver more than $100 million in revenue to Ventia over the next 3 years.

Under the new On-Demand Business Deployment Module, Ventia’s work will comprise the design, survey and construction of nbn’s full fibre technology to business premises in large parts of Victoria, Queensland, NSW and Tasmania.

The scope of this Business Deployment Module encompasses the installation of new nbn® broadband infrastructure to locations or premises where demand arises to facilitate service access to business or enterprise customers. Fibre technologies include Enterprise Ethernet, gigabit-capable passive optical network (including nbn® Select and Technology Choice) and Smart Places non-premises locations products.

Ventia’s Group Executive – Telecommunications, Mark Ralston said: “Ventia has been delivering the On-Demand Module (ODM) scope for nbn since the program's inception in 2012 and is currently delivering the largest ODM work volume for nbn nationally”.

“We are proud of our longstanding, strategic partnership with NBN Co,” said Mark.

Ventia has the national presence and proven ability delivering large-scale projects such as this one. We look forward to continuing our collaboration with NBN Co and redefining service excellence, utilising our client-focused, innovative and sustainable approach.

Works will commence in October 2024.
