Ventia has been awarded the Department of Justice and Community Safety (Victoria) Asset Management Services Contract (AMSC) worth $71.4M. The contract has an initial term of five years with two, two-year options to extend for a maximum of nine years. Operations will commence on 1 August, 2022.

Through the AMSC, we will be responsible for maintaining 24 State-owned and managed facilities across Victoria, including correctional facilities, post sentence facilities, Youth Justice, Security and Emergency Services Group (SESG) training centres and community fire refuge centres.

These facilities are operated by four agencies: Corrections Victoria, Emergency Management Victoria Community Fire Refuges, Victorian Institute of Forensic Medicine, and Youth Justice. 

Group Chief Executive Officer Dean Banks said that Ventia's strategy of being client-focused, innovative and sustainable is in alignment with the Department's focus under the AMSC.
