Ventia has been awarded the next stage of work to complete NBN Co's Fibre Connect program. The award is expected to deliver revenue of approximately $134 million to Ventia over the next 2.5 years.

Ventia's work on the Fibre Connect program further extends Australia's digital backbone into communities across Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania and Western Australia. The program provides access to the highest wholesale residential speed tiers on the nbn® fixed line network and enables a seamless transition to Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) technology for eligible premises currently connected via Fibre to the Node (FTTN).

This additional work under the Fibre Connect program is testament to Ventia and NBN Co's strong partnership.

Ventia's Group Executive - Telecommunications, Mark Ralston said the company's track record of delivering large-scale projects, its expertise in fibre design and build, together with Ventia's strong performance as a long-term NBN Co strategic partner, all contributed to being awarded this additional stage of work.

"We have demonstrated that we have the resources, commitment and expertise to support the successful completion of this important project," said Mark.

We value our collaborative partnership with NBN Co and look forward to delivering this additional work utilising our client-focused, innovative and sustainable approach

Works will commence in August 2023.
