We’re pleased to announce the extension of our Facility Management Agreement with the City of Sydney, valued at approximately $100 million over two years.

The extension will commence on 22 January 2026 and continue through to 21 January 2028, reinforcing the City of Sydney’s continued confidence in Ventia’s ability to deliver high-quality, data-driven and strategic asset management services across its diverse asset portfolio.

Since the partnership began in April 2018, we have provided integrated facilities management services across 251 City-owned assets, including iconic heritage-listed buildings such as Sydney Town Hall and Customs House. The scope of services includes hard and soft facilities management, project works, cleaning, maintenance, and strategic asset management.

The deployment of strategic asset management, governance and reporting has significantly improved operational efficiency, data insights and maximised the useful life of the City’s assets. Our data driven and collaborative approach has also enhanced lifecycle reporting and analysis, contributing to smarter asset management and better outcomes for the community.

We’re especially proud of our focus on community engagement, reflected in our joint Stretch RAP commitments including the recruitment of local indigenous talent and partnerships with social and Indigenous enterprises. This inclusive approach has fostered a diverse and effective workforce, delivering meaningful social impact alongside operational excellence.

“We’re proud to continue our partnership with the City of Sydney, leveraging smart data and enhanced visibility to drive more informed decision-making. This partnership is a testament to how innovation and collaboration in facilities management can create value and maximise our customers’ return on investment”, said Managing Director and Group CEO Dean Banks.
