Ryan Barnaville who delivers operations on our BHP Iron Ore contract was awarded Driller of the Year at the awards hosted in Perth. Our finalists include Jasmine Wulff for Woman of the Year, Russel Bennett for Young Driller of the year and our PLC System for Safety Innovation of the year.

Ryan is a highly skilled and experienced water well drilling professional with a strong focus on safety and efficiency. He has worked with Ventia on BHP WAIO sites throughout his career, progressing from Offsider to Rig Manager. His deep understanding of drilling equipment and his ability to troubleshoot complex ground conditions have made him invaluable to the team. Ryan is passionate about mentoring and supporting his crew, fostering a positive work environment and promoting career development. His strong communication skills and commitment to transparency have built strong relationships with stakeholders and clients.
