Ventia

Ventia's Asset Management team were recently awarded a two-year contract with Goulburn Valley Water to improve the reliability of their pump and motor assets.

The Pump Inspection Program (PIP) aims to make improvements through early detection and identification of performance issues. This will be achieved through regular condition monitoring and associated tasks on nominated pumps, along with the performance of maintenance works.

Goulburn Valley Water provides water and wastewater services to a population of 128,000 in 54 towns, extending from the outskirts of Melbourne in the south to the Murray River in the north. The region covers approximately 20,000 square kilometers.

Ventia's Asset Optimisation Manager, and project manager for this contract, Eduardo Agnoletti says Ventia's ability to utilise one technician to perform both electrical and mechanical condition monitoring inspections was key to winning this contract.
