We're proud to have injected nearly $100,000 into communities across Australia and New Zealand to support important community-driven projects. 

Established in 2011, our Community Grants program provides up to $2,000 to support activities and projects that provide deliver lasting community benefits in areas such as community, education and training, health, Indigenous, safety and youth. 

This is the first year the grants have been awarded in New Zealand. 

From heritage and harmonies to veteran services and sport, the programs funded will make a lasting difference to local communities in building regional strength, sustainability and spirit.

Fifty organisations across the two nations who will share the $94,000 in funding this year. 

Ventia Brand and Engagement Manager Shelley Folkard has overseen the community grants program since they began in 2011 and said they are a wonderful demonstration of Ventia's enduring commitment to communities.

"The number of grass-roots community groups that have benefited from our community grants program over the years really speaks to the heart of our purpose at Ventia," says Shelley.  

The program has had a steady and meaningful impact on important local projects that support healthy and thriving communities for our people, clients and future generations. 

"We have supported 373 community groups with more than $620,000 of grant funding, and it's a real joy seeing the genuine impact - the smiles, learned skills, achievements and belonging this program brings to the heart of our communities.'
