Each year we recognise the progress we've made with our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) commitments.

As we integrate Broadspectrum and Visionstream as Ventia, we come together from different stages of our unique Reconciliation journeys.

In October 2020, Broadspectrum celebrated the second anniversary of their Elevate RAP, and in the spirit of collaboration and collective focus, leaders from different parts of our Ventia business in Queensland toured project sites to share the good news.

General Manager Village Services Marco Waanders said that this year's celebrations provided a clear stepping-off point to an exciting future together around Reconciliation.

Celebrating Broadspectrum's fourth and Ventia's first RAP, we have combined resources and are working together to pave the way to increase Indigenous participation across our business.

Several students from Chinchilla State High School, some of whom were involved in creating the artwork for the 2018-2020 RAP, flew into Archerfield and joined us for the tour.

Chinchilla State High School Principal Ian Insley said:

Ventia is a leader in community engagement, and activities like this show they are doing real things that make a sustainable difference for the communities in which they operate.
