Ventia leaders gathered in sunny Northland to present our Community Grants of $30,000 to fourteen incredible recipients.
It was a truly heartwarming experience to meet these community groups and learn about the exceptional mahi they are doing to benefit our communities.
Ngā Moko a Rāhiri are developing future leaders through performing arts, Parapara Marae are restoring their mana whenua (land) and planting Pohutakawa trees, Ara Whakamaua prepare our youth outside of the traditional education system for work, and Life Education are keeping Harold the giraffe educational mobile classroom on the road. These are just a few of the amazing community groups we presented grants to yesterday.
